Motorists flocking back to Metro Manila at the end of this long weekend should refrain from swerving and overspeeding to avoid road rage incidents and accidents, authorities said Sunday.
The Subic–Clark–Tarlac Expressway tallied 2 rear-end accidents on Sunday morning due to motorists' failure to maintain a safe braking distance from vehicles in front of them, said Robin Ignacio, senior manager for traffic operations.

The North Luzon and South Luzon Expressways, he said, have yet to record see traffic build-up past 12 noon.

Authorities, however, are keeping an eye on possible heavy traffic at Calamba and Bocauae toll plazas.
