TIMELINE: Update on the coronavirus disease crisis in PH
The Philippine government decided to continue the lockdown in certain parts of the country after April 12, 2020.
From 4,648 cases on April 12, the number of Covid-positive cases jumped to 9,485 by May 4 and continued to rise. The government announced it would expand testing on the coronavirus disease on April 14, 2020.
