Filipino basketball prospect Kai Sotto has visited a couple of NCAA Division I schools in the US to fuel his NBA dreams.
The former Ateneo Blue Eaglet, who has been playing with Atlanta-based basketball team “The Skills Factory,” visited the University of Kentucky before making his way to Georgia Tech.
The 7-foot-2 cager who was accompanied by his father Earvin, was warmly received in Kentucky, where he met Wildcats head coach John Calipari.
In Georgie Tech, Sotto was given a Yellow Jacket uniform.
Kentucky Wildcats graduates include NBA superstars DeMarcus Cousins, Anthony Davis and Rajon Rondo, while Georgia Tech has the likes of Chris Bosh, Stephon Marbury, and Gani Lawal.
The 17-year-old Sotto was also visited by DePaul University coach Dave Leitao.
