MANILA—The first pick of the 2019 Gilias Pilipinas Draft is Isaac Go.

Columbian selected the big man out of Ateneo de Manila University to open Sunday’s proceeding at Robinson’s Place Manila.

Go, the first top pick from Ateneo since Greg Slaughter in 2013, will be loaned to Gilas Pilipinas through the 2023 FIBA World Cup as his PBA rights will be retained by Columbian.

For the second straight year, the Dyip had the top pick in the draft.

Last year, Columbian selected CJ Perez out of Lyceum.

For the second Gilas pick, Blackwater took University of the East’s one-and-done star Rey Suerte.

NLEX got another former Ateneo guard in Matt Nieto at No. 3, while Alaska took San Sebastian College ’s Allyn Bulanadi with the fourth pick.

Completing the Gilas draft was Rain Or Shine, which chose Mike Nieto.
