LA Tenorio led the way as Barangay Ginebra beat Blackwater 101-93 in the 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup for the Gin Kings' fourth straight win at Cuneta Astrodome on Wednesday.

Tenorio had 20 points, including 5 triples, to go with 7 rebounds and 5 assists.

Japeth Aguilar added 18 points, while Justin Brownlee had an all-around performance of 17 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists.

Brownlee and co., who led by as many as 21 points, climbed to 5-2 in the league standings.

Ginebra looked headed for an easy win, but Mac Belo rallied Blackwater to within 4 points in the final quarter.

But Tenorio buried a triple and Brownlee followed it up with a basket to knock the wind out of Blackwater.

Belo paced his team with 19 points, while Marqus Blakely was held to just 8 as Blackwater dropped to 2-7.

Ray Parks had 14 points.

In the first game, Manny Harris tallied a triple-double to help NLEX beat Rain Or Shine 111-91 and wrest the lead in the team standings.

Harris scored 29 points to go with 12 rebounds and 11 assists to lead the Road Warriors’ to their seventh win in 8 games.

They have a similar record as idle TNT, but NLEX took first place by virtue of its win over the KaTropa last week.

Rain Or Shine sank to the bottom of the standings with its seventh loss in 9 games.
