The PBA will be fielding 3 teams to the East Asia Super League, as its Terrific 12 basketball tournament returns to Macau in September.

San Miguel Beer, TNT and Blackwater will participate in the weeklong tournament to be held at Tap Seac Multi-sports Pavilion.

According to ABS-CBN Sports, TNT is grouped with the Chinese Basketball Association’s (CBA) Liaoning Flying Leopards, which means TNT’s Jayson Castro will be on collision course with China’s top guard, Guo Ailun.

Castro has been named Asia's best point guard twice, while Guo currently holds the title.

The Terrific 12 features 3 clubs from the CBA, 4 from the B.LEAGUE (Japan), 2 from the Korean Basketball League, and 3 from the PBA.

The teams will go through a group stage, semifinals and finals.

The champion will get $150,000, the runner-up $100,000 and third place $50,000.

TNT will clash against Lioaning on September 17. The KaTropa will also play on September 19 against Japan’s Niigata Albirex.
