ABL: Kuala Lumpur overwhelms Alab still waiting for Justin Brownlee

Kuala Lumpur Dragons built an early lead to beat San Miguel Alab Pilipinas 92-80 in the ASEAN Basketball League at MABA Stadium on Wednesday.

Dragons limited Alab to just 12 points in the first quarter and led by as many as 27 points.

Alab found its groove in the fourth quarter where the Filipino club mounted a 10-0 run, but Dragons' lead proved insurmountable.

William Artino had 29 points to lead Kuala Lumpur (8-7). 

Nicholas King led San Miguel with 28 points, while Jordan Heading chipped in 26 for Alab (9-6).

Coach Jimmy Alapag and co. hope to improve their record when Justin Brownlee suits up on Sunday.
