Preparing your family for the worst case scenario

Fresh out of college, I was 20 and felt invincible. I viewed the world to be my oyster, and a gift waiting to be unwrapped. Less than a year after I graduated, a fatal accident took away my father, including my dreams of returning to university and taking up a law degree.
