MANILA - The gunman in the killing of radio broadcaster Dindo Generoso is now in the alert list of the Bureau of Immigration, Secretary of Justice Menardo Guevarra said on Tuesday.
Guevarra is also ordering a hold departure order against Tomasino Aledro.
"I have directed OCP (Office of the City Prosecutor) Dumaguete to apply for a precautionary HDO against Aledro," Guevarra said.
Aledro was the registered owner of the pick-up that was driven by suspect Teddy Salaw.
Salaw and retired policeman Glenn Corsame are now in police custody.
Police said the gunman, Patrolman Roger Rubio, was seen alighting from the pick-up before transferring to the motorcycle driven by Corsame.
The group ambushed Generoso in Barangay Piapi while he was on his way to the radio station on Thursday.
