MANILA—The Professional Regulation Commission announced Thursday that 3,135 out of 4,697 registered electrical engineers, and 2,649 out of 4,251 registered master electricians passed the Electrical Engineer Licensure Examinations given this month.
Niño Boy Armario Dacer of Bicol University in Legazpi topped the Registered Electrical Engineer exam with a rating of 93.05 percent.
Dee-Jay Demesa Alvaro of Bicol State College of Applied Sciences and Tech, meanwhile, placed first in the Registered Master Electrician exam with a rating of 92.50 percent.
University of Santo Tomas and University of Saint Louis-
Tuguegarao were this year’s top performing school in the Registered Electrical Engineer exam with a 100 percent passing rate.
The Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Sto. Tomas, meanwhile, was the top performing school in the Registered Master Electrician exam with a 96.67 percent passing rate.

Meanwhile, 60 candidates passed the Technical Evaluation for the Upgrading as Professional Electrical Engineers conducted this month.
