MANILA -- A local court has ordered the transfer of two recently-arrested Maguindanao massacre suspects to Camp Bagong Diwa, a court document obtained by ABS-CBN News showed.

Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 221 issued a commitment order on January 17 transferring the custody of Kagi Faizal alias "Faizal Baga Dimaukom" and Gambayan Kasim alias "Lori Alip" from the Parang Municipal Police Station in Maguindanao to the Quezon City Jail-Annex in Camp Bagong Diwa in Bicutan, Taguig City.

Faizal was arrested on January 6 while Kasim was caught on January 9.

Their arrests mean the multiple murder cases against them have been revived and the two will face trial.

In the same order, Judge Jocelyn Solis-Reyes required both accused's presence during their arraignment on Tuesday, January 21, at 9am.

Members of the Ampatuan clan and several others were found guilty of multiple murder in the Maguindanao massacre, where 58 people were killed, including 32 journalists. The ruling last December came a decade since what is considered the worst political violence in the Philippines.

At the time the verdict was released, 80 accused were still at large.
