MANILA – Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados is full of gratitude as she celebrated her birthday on Thursday (Manila time).
“As I turn 24 today, I am so thankful and looking forward to another year!” she said in an Instagram post, where she also took the opportunity to greet her followers a merry Christmas.
Looking back on the year that has passed, the beauty queen went on: “I was blessed with so many opportunities this year. My dreams have come to fruition and I have met new and amazing people along the way.”
Ganados stayed in the United States after competing in the Miss Universe 2019 pageant. She finished in the Top 20 and won best in national costume.
She said she is excited to return to the Philippines soon.
“If there is one thing I learned, it is to always celebrate your personal victories because no one else understands what it took to accomplish them. Can’t wait to be back home soon to continue my job and fulfill my mission,” she said.
Ganados is the last Miss Universe representative to be sent by Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc.
The new Miss Universe Philippines organization, led by former beauty queen Shamcey Supsup, will take over starting in 2020.
