SANTA ROSA, Laguna -- Lights, sounds, Disney!

AyalaLand-Nuvali launched its annual lights and sounds show for the third year running, this time in partnership with The Walt Disney Company.

Set in an open football field within the mixed-use community, over 5,000 tulip LED light bulbs, tube lights, abd light spheres are scattered in the open area. Towering over the lights is a light installation resembling Disney's famous mascot, Mickey Mouse.

Along with laser lights and spotlights, the field of lights dance to the tunes of well-loved Disney soundtracks, as well as Christmas medleys.

Aside from the lights-and-sounds show, a 50-meter light tunnel from previous years and other Disney-inspired installations are also on display in the open field.

Similar shows can also be found in other Ayala properties such as in Ayala Triangle and Vertis North, albeit in smaller venues compared to Nuvali's.

In anticipation to the influx of visitors based on last year's numbers -- from 800,000 during the first year to 2.2 million in the second year -- and the Disney brand attached, the organizers have prepared a queuing system to control the number of visitors per show, according to Nuvali marketing manager Jennifer Chua.

Every show can accommodate up to 10,000 visitors on a first-come, first serve basis. But for a minimum donation of P50 per head, donors will get a "fast pass" access to the show, a spot at the bleachers, and a Disney-themed bottled water.

Part of the donations will go to the Hero Foundation, a non-profit organization supporting families of fallen soldiers. Visitors may donate on-site or through a payment method online to go live on November 30.

"Reimagine the Magic: Festival of Lights" is free to the public and runs every night in 30-minute intervals up to January 13, 2019, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
