MANILA -- Catriona Gray believes that we can all do our part in stopping the spread of the novel coronavirus, even if we are not frontliners.
In partnership with the Department of Health, Gray released a tutorial on her Instagram page, peppered with references to her Miss Universe 2018 stint for better recall.
Tips ranged from staying at home to washing your hands. In the latter, for instance, she said to wash hands in the amount of time it took her to do the lava walk on the Miss Universe stage.
"I don't know about you guys, but lately when watching the news, I've found myself feeling a little hopeless. But I believe, that knowledge has the ability to be incredibly empowering -- which is what I feel many of us need now," Gray said in an Instagram post, which showed her "How to be COVID warrior" tutorial.
"In response to those of you who've been asking for basic info regarding how to protect ourselves from COVID-19, I've partnered up with the Philippine Department of Health to put together a simple video on how you and I can help put a stop to the COVID-19 pandemic... not just in the Philippines, but in all our nations," she added.
Gray also took the opportunity to ask her fans and followers to show their support for frontliners, and by donating to those in need.
