MANILA – Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados could not think of a better homecoming than being part of this year’s Sinulog festival in Cebu.
Ganados, who represented Talisay, Cebu in the Binibining Pilipinas national pageant last year, joined her fellow beauty queens in the Sinulog grand parade over the weekend.
“What better way to celebrate my Cebu homecoming than by joining the biggest street party in Cebu: the annual Sinulog Grand Parade!” she said in an Instagram post on Monday.
“Nothing feels better than being at home,” she added.
Aside from the Sinulog festival, Ganados and the rest of the Bb. Pilipinas 2019 winners also attended the topping off ceremony of the first Ibis Styles hotel at the Araneta City in Cubao.
Aya Abesamis, who was formerly first runner-up, has assumed the title of Bb. Pilipinas Grand International after Samantha Lo’s resignation.
Ganados finished in the Top 20 of Miss Universe 2019, which was won by Zozibini Tunzi of South Africa.
She also won the national costume award.
