MANILA--She has been rather consistent in updating her fans about her phenomenal weight loss journey on social media, which resulted in her losing more than 30 pounds last year.
And yet despite repeated assurance that this was because of a mix of a balanced diet and a positive mindset, Maxene Magalona's continued fitness journey is still sparking concerns among fans.
Her super slim shape, which she recently showed off for an upcoming event, has brought back assumptions that she has an eating disorder.
Addressing these, Magalona posted a photo of her meals this Friday --a healthy serving of vegan lasagna.
She wrote that this is "proof" that she still eats, adding: "Not that I need to explain myself but since a lot of people have been assuming that I've become anorexic or even bulimic."
"I thought of posting this to put their minds at ease."
It was back in September 2018 when Magalona revealed her health and fitness goals. She shared that she had cut down the amount of sweets, junk food, and alcohol she consumes.
Earlier this year, she and her husband, Rob Mananquil, became certified yoga instructors, a show of their dedication to practicing it in a consistent basis as part of her fitness regime.
