MANILA -- Sarah Geronimo revealed she was worried up until the last rehearsals for both her singers -- Johnray Castiller and Ceejay Castillo -- ahead of their Battle on "The Voice Teens 2" on Saturday.

Castiller had earlier voiced his worries over singing "Stay" by Rihanna and Mikki Ekko, saying that the parts assigned to him did not really fit his voice. It showed during the rehearsals, and it left Geronimo with a lot of encouraging to do, with Castillo also seemingly affected by her partner's lack of confidence.

Castiiler and Castillo would eventually put on a decent showing, with Geronimo noting how proud she was of the two.

The pop star said that Castiller surprised her with how much he improved, but prodded for her choice she still went with Castillo, who nailed her parts, according to Geronimo and her fellow coaches.

This meant that Castillo is moving on to the Knockouts, while Castiller was eliminated from the contest.

The new "The Voice Teens" episode aired on the Kapamilya Channel, which is mainly available through cable providers such as Sky, as the government continues to discuss ABS-CBN’s franchise issues.

It airs at 7:30 p.m. on Saturdays and 7 p.m. on Sundays.
