MANILA – Grammy winner Billie Eilish has postponed the rest of her world tour this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

On Twitter this past week, Eilish, the youngest ever to win the "big four" marquee categories of the Grammys -- song of the year, record of the year, album of the year and best new artist -- said the decision was made "out of an abundance of caution."

She encouraged her fans to "stay safe, and stay home" for now, and assured them that previously purchased tickets for her performances will be honored on the new dates.

Eilish's "Where Do We Go? World Tour" had included stops in the US, South America, Europe, and Asia.

She was supposed to perform in Manila on September, although MMI Live, its local promoter, has yet to announce anything on social media regarding Eilish's concert since the singer's post.

Eilish is best known for her album "when we all fall asleep, where do we go?" that earned her the Grammys grand slam. She is the first person to achieve that feat since Christopher Cross in 1981.
