MANILA -- Sharon Cuneta has decided to postpone her concert series in Australia due to the coronavirus (COVID-19).
The Megastar told her fans on Instagram: "It breaks my heart to have to inform you that because of the present health crisis ...we have decided to postpone my April 2020 Australian Concert Tour."
The dates affected are the following: April 17 in Blacktown, NSW; April 18 in Williamstown, Victoria; April 25 in Woodville, South Australia; and April 26 in Burswood, Western Australia.
"I was so looking forward to seeing and singing for you all," Cuneta said, adding that the new dates are still being arranged. "Let us all hope and keep praying that we can all get back to normality soon."
As of Saturday, Australia has 200 confirmed cases of COVID-19, while he Philippines has 111.
President Rodrigo Duterte has already put Metro Manila under a "community quarantine," which means that travel to and from the area will be restricted, among other measures to contain the virus.
