The 14th annual Soompi Awards will recognize the best K-pop fandom on Twitter in a new award category.
Aside from recognizing the best Twitter fandom, Soompi Awards will also recognize the K-pop fandom that has grown the most on Twitter by comparing the total vote tweets for each K-pop artist this year to the total vote tweets in 2018.
The increase in votes will determine the rising popularity of K-pop artists.
Twitter users from the Philippines and around the world can show their support for their favorite K-pop idols by using the designated hashtags.
Fans can vote for their favorite K-pop stars during two separate 24-hour periods by tweeting #TwitterBestFandom along with the team hashtag on the following dates:
- 7 p.m. March 2 PHT to 7 p.m. March 3 PHT
- 7 p.m. March 16 PHT to 7 p.m. March 17 PHT.
Soompi Awards will also get its own Twitter emoji, which will appear during the voting period when fans use the following hashtags: #SoompiAwards and #TwitterBestFandom from February 27 to March 27.
