MANILA - Ayala Land's hotel arm, Seda, said it would double its capacity by 2019, citing growing demand.

The hotel chain said it would increase its total rooms to 3,500 in 2 years from the current 1,409, while increasing the number of hotels to 15 from 7, Seda senior group manager Andrea Mastellone said.

"Solid demand for our hotels continues to steadily grow," Mastellone said.

Seda hopes to fill demand for hotel rooms in tourist destinations, he said.
