MANILA - Senate bet Ronald dela Rosa on Tuesday said he is all for the releasing of the list of politicians with alleged links to illegal drugs to help voters make a wise choice in the Midterms polls.

"Saan mo gustong maging biased? Doon sa mga pulitiko o dito sa mga botante na they have a right also kung sino ang binoboto nila," Dela Rosa said on ANC's Headstart.

But the administration bet said the list should be validated first.

"I trust the list kung validated 'yan fully," he said.

Interior Secretary Eduardo Año earlier said that his office would release the narco-list ahead of the start of the campaign for local elections on March 30. The Commission on Elections has said releasing the narco-list violates the right to due process.

Dela Rosa, a former Philippine National Police chief, earlier said he trusts the PNP's own narco-list 99.9 percent.

Dela Rosa headed the PNP for nearly two years before relinquishing his post to Oscar Albayalde, the former chief for Metro Manila.
