Pocari Sweat-Air Force salvaged some pride despite missing the final 4 for the first time in franchise history after sweeping listless Adamson-Akari 25-18, 25-20, 25-23 in the Premier Volleyball League Season 2 Open Conference at the Batangas City Coliseum Wednesday.

Myla Pablo poured 16 points to lead the Lady Warriors, which closed their campaign with a 7-7 win-loss record.

Pablo had 15 attacks and 12 digs for another all-around performance for Pocari Sweat, which missed the semis for the first time after four conferences in the league.

Chiara Permentilla led Adamson-Akari with 10 points.

The Lady Falcons, which will close their campaign on Saturday against semis-bound Creamline, dropped their 13th straight game in as many outings and lost rookie Trisha Genesis midway in the third after hurting her right ankle after landing on Pablo’s foot following a block attempt.
