MANILA, Philippines – For the fourth consecutive year, the National University (NU) Pep Squad reigned supreme in the UAAP Cheerdance Competition.
The NU Pep Squad put on a near-flawless performance in the 2016 UAAP Cheerdance Competition Saturday at the Araneta Coliseum, blowing away the rest of the field to finish as the undisputed champions.

The Far Eastern University (FEU) Cheering Squad finished a far second, with 658.5 points, while the Adamson University Pep Squad was in third place with 655 points.
Traditional powerhouse University of Santo Tomas Salinggawi Dance Troupe settled for fourth place with 650 points.
In fifth place was the University of the East Pep Squad (645 points), followed by the De La Salle University Animo Squad (560.5 points) and the Ateneo de Manila University's Blue Babble Battalion (512 points).
The University of the Philippines Pep Squad did not participate in the competition this year.
