Stanley Pringle scored a layup with 15.6 seconds left in the game to lead Barangay Ginebra to a 96-93 win over TNT in the 2019 PBA Governors' Cup at Araneta Coliseum on Friday.

Ray Parks Jr. finished with 17 points after a slow start in his first game with TNT, but he missed a hail-mary 3-pointer in the final possession that could've sent the game to overtime.

The win gave Ginebra (6-3) a berth in the quarterfinals, while TNT fell to 7-2, tying Meralco for second and third places.

TNT stormed back from a 14-point deficit to tie the game at 92-all on a Roger Pogoy 3-pointer with 32 seconds remaining.

After Pringle answered with a bucket off KJ McDaniels, McDaniels tried to respond but he was fouled on the drive.

He split his free throws, though, and Ginebra secured the rebound and the win with 2 free throws by Justin Brownlee.

Japeth Aguilar finished with a team-high 29 points on 13-of-16 shooting from the field, to go with 10 rebounds, while Brownlee bucked a cold shooting night to add 24 points and 16 rebounds for Ginebra, which exploded for 36 points in the third quarter to take a commanding lead.

McDaniels scored 32 points to lead TNT, which saw Parks bury 4 3-pointers.

In the first game, Allen Durham scored 34 points to lead Meralco to an easy 92-74 win over Columbian Dyip.

Columbian fell to 4-6.
