San Miguel Beer turned up the heat in the fourth quarter en roue to a 90-76 win over the Shenzhen Aviators in the East Asia League Terrific 12 Tuesday in Macau.
Terrence Romeo knocked down two successive triples while Arwind Santos and Von Pessumal chipped in for a 12-2 run that allowed the Beermen to pull away against Aviators, according to Spin.ph.
Their import Dez Wells, their same reinforcement for the PBA Governors' Cup, also had an impressive showing.
He scored 29 points.
"He’s fit for our team. Like what I’ve said before, he’s a small version of Chris McCullough," said coach Leo Austria, referring to their import in the recent Commissioner's Cup.
Romeo finished with 17 points.
The Beermen had to do without June Mar Fajardo, Marcio Lassiter, Alex Cabagnot and Kelly Nabong.
