Terrence Jones tallied 26 points, 13 rebounds and 8 assists, as TNT beat Magnolia 98-83 at Araneta Coliseum on Wednesday to secure the top seed in the 2019 PBA Commissioner's Cup.

Magnolia, which lost its 4th straight game, faces Barangay Ginebra in a best-of-3 quarterfinals on Saturday.

On Sunday, meanwhile, TNT will take on the winner of the playoff between Alaska and Meralco.

TNT broke away in the second quarter, expanding a 2-point lead to 42-28 before the break, a cushion it never relinquished.

The KaTropa used a 17-5 run, which saw them limit Magnolia to just 2 field goals for a stretch of nearly 9 minutes.

Roger Pogoy added 20 points, and Jayson Castro 13.

Rakeem Christmas had a lackluster scoring debut for Magnolia with 8 points on 2-of-10 shooting.

Paul Lee came off the bench to score 23 points to lead the Hotshots.
