Thirdy Ravena's professional basketball career will start on October 3, when the San-En NeoPhoenix play the first of two games against the Chiba Jets.
NeoPhoenix announced on social media that their home opener will be against the Jets, who were fourth in the league last season with a 28-13 win-loss record.
They will play back-to-back games against the Jets at the Hamamatsu Arena.
Ravena had opted not to enter the 2019 PBA Rookie Draft to explore opportunities overseas, and he signed with NeoPhoenix as the league's first ever Filipino import.
Ravena will try to be a spark for the squad, which finished at the bottom of the standings last season at 5-36.
