PetroGazz has defeated Creamline 15-25, 25-22, 25-22, 25-12 on Saturday to even the best-of-3 finals of the Premier Volleyball League Season 3 Reinforced Conference.

The come-from-behind win at FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan halted Creamline's winning streak, which ran for 12 matches.

Game 3 is at Ynares Sports Center in Antipolo on Sunday.

PetroGazz showed grace under pressure in the third set, staving off the Cool Smashers’ rally to take a 2-1 lead.

The Angels saw its 20-16 advantage evaporate as Creamline tied it at 21 off an Ale Blanco kill block on Janisa Johnson.

PetroGazz reclaimed the driver's seat on a Johnson hit before Alyssa Valdez knotted the game at 22 off an attack.

Johnson sparked the closing rally with a kill followed by a Wilma Salas off speed before Johnson scored off a tap to seal the frame.
