Team Lakay's Danny Kingad said he wouldn't say no to fighting the winner between ONE flyweight champion Adriano Moraes and ONE flyweight Grand Prix Champion Demetrious Johnson.
Defeat to the two fighters are the only blemish in Kingad's 16-fight career, and he would love to avenge those losses if given the chance.
“I would love to rematch either of them, or fight the winner,” he said.
Johnson is expected to meet Moraes for the world title once the COVID-19 pandemic blows over.
Kingad is currently the second-ranked flyweight, sitting just below Johnson in the official ONE Championship rankings.
“All I want to do is to face the best, and these two guys are the best in the division. It would be an honor," he said.
To make sure he gets his shot, Kingad continues to train despite being limited by the pandemic.
“I’m taking things day by day. Obviously, it’s a tough situation for everyone. I’m making the best of it, training at home, staying conditioned as best as I can,” he said.
“I want to be ready when it’s time to step back into the circle . . . Right now, I just have to continue training hard and winning, and I believe in my heart I’ll get another shot at the world title.”
