MANILA – With Game 7 of the 2019 PBA Philippine Cup less than two days away, the Magnolia Hotshots and the San Miguel Beermen will continue their preparations on Monday even as the rest of the country votes.

Both San Miguel coach Leo Austria and Magnolia coach Chito Victolero said they will personally take time to vote, but will still hold practice.

The Beermen forced a do-or-die game for the All-Filipino Cup title after a 98-86 triumph on Sunday's Game 6.

"Kailangan eh, kailangan namin mag-practice....after that, saka kami boboto," said Victolero.

"Pagka-boto namin, diretso na kami sa practice. Ako, boboto rin ako, malapit lang naman ako, diyan ako sa Quezon City," said Austria, for his part.

Victolero also noted that several of his players won't be able to participate in the polls.

"Yung iba hindi na talaga makakauwi kasi yung iba taga-Zamboanga, taga-Cagayan, so wala ng chance, wala ng time. Siguro dito, like ako, taga-Bulacan, makaka-uwi pa. Yung mga dito lang, sa North, sa South," he said.

"Pero yung sa province siguro, mga bandang Cebu or what, di na yun makakauwi."

Game 7 is on Wednesday at the Araneta Coliseum.
