Kobe Bryant, one of Philadelphia's proud sons, shared some advice intended to help 76ers point guard Ben Simmons take his game to the next level: Rebuild your jump shot.

"Just aesthetically, I would say build that thing anew," Bryant said in a FOX Sports interview.

Simmons was 0 for 4 from the field in Game 2 and scored one point against the Boston Celtics in the second-round playoff series. He made 8 of 14 shots in Game 3, but the 76ers fell behind 3-0 as the Celtics continually gave Simmons room to shoot.

Worth noting from Bryant, he shot just over 42 percent from the field during his first two seasons after being drafted out of high school.

Former 76ers guard Allen Iverson called Simmons after Game 2 to share words of encouragement.

"He just said play the game I know how to play," Simmons said of Iverson's call. "He gave me some words of encouragement."
