Josie Gabuco showed her vintage form to grab a gold medal in the Asian Boxing Championships in Bangkok, on Friday.
The 32-year old, 4-time Southeast Asian Games gold medalist outpunched Kim Hyang Mi of North Korea in the finals of the women’s light flyweight division.
The bout took place at Indoor Stadium of the Hua Mark Sports Complex.
Before reaching the title match, Gabuco had to go through Kazakhstan’s Alua Balkibekova and Bhutan’s Tandin Lhamo.
