Filipino businesses and fans paid tribute to NBA legend Kobe Bryant on Monday.

Bryant, along with daughter Gianna and seven other companions, died in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California Sunday (US Pacific Time).

Several buildings in the metro turned purple to pay tribute to Bryant, while some of his fans gathered at Araneta Center to show their love and loyalty to the Black Mamba.

SM Mall of Asia

The globe at the SM Mall of Asia turned purple as it flashed the number "24", which was Bryant's jersey number during his time with the LA Lakers.

Uptown Mall Bonifacio

Uptown Mall in Bonifacio Global City, likewise, turned purple and gold as it flashed Bryant's name and jersey number.

Smart Araneta Coliseum

The Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City turned purple on Monday evening to pay tribute to Bryant.

House of Kobe

A new community center and basketball court named in honor of Bryant was inaugurated Monday in Valenzuela City, hours before news of his death broke.

Pinoy fans' meetup in Araneta Coliseum

Fans trooped to Araneta Coliseum to show their love and loyalty to the Black Mamba in a fan initiated meetup, much like the one in Staples Center in Los Angeles.
