NBA arenas on Sunday performed a unique tribute to Kobe Bryant, who died earlier in the day with several others in a helicopter crash in California.

To start their respective games, teams in action on the night ran out the 24-second shot clock in memory of Bryant, who wore the No. 24 in the latter part of his career.

In Atlanta, the hometown Hawks took it a step further when Hawks guard Trae Young took a deliberate 8-second violation, honoring the No. 8 Bryant used prior.
