Retrieval operations after Hurricane Dorian

Personnel from the Royal Bahamas Police Force remove a body recovered in a destroyed neighborhood in the wake of Hurricane Dorian in Marsh Harbour, Great Abaco, Bahamas, on Monday. Local authorities reported at least 45 people were killed after category 5 Hurricane Dorian pummeled the Abaco islands with 295 kmh winds which caused massive destruction in the area. Members of League of Parents of the Philippines (LPP) troop to Department of Justice on Tuesday, as they file petition for a writ of habeas corpus against Kabataan Partylist to produce the missing activists in the appropriate court. Checking for swine fever

Local authorities inspect cargo vans on Tuesday at an animal checkpoint in San Mateo, Rizal to help prevent the spread of the African Swine Fever virus that has affected the swine industry. Officials say laboratory tests have shown that African swine fever has caused the deaths of pig herds in at least seven villages near Manila and adds a multi-agency body will be set up to ensure the highly contagious disease would not spread further.
