BUKIDNON - At least three kilos of suspected shabu worth P20 million were seized from four men riding a stolen vehicle in Barangay Impalutao, Impasug-ong, Bukidnon Tuesday.

Aside from illegal drugs, authorities also seized a .45 caliber pistol, ammunition, P1,450 cash, a tablet, and a cellphone from suspects Nahar Apam, Sohud Salik, Tho Tha, and Johari Akmad who were all from Maguindanao.

The gray rent-a-car Toyota Corolla with plate number UCO-308 was flagged down after the vehicle's owner reported that it was not returned on December 19, Highway Patrol Group 10 Regional Chief Sr. Supt. Gabriel Lopez said.

Thanks to a built-in GPS, the vehicle was tracked down heading towards Cotabato City, Lopez said.

Officials have yet to confirm if the arrested suspects were the same people who rented the said vehicle.

Aside from carnapping, the suspects will face additional charges of violation against the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and illegal possession of Firearms and Ammunition.
