MANILA - The Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) on Friday said the bullying case in its Junior High campus will be decided the "soonest."
In a statement, ADMU President Fr. Jose Villarin said the the Ateneo Junior High School Committee on Discipline has met and heard both parties involved.
"The case shall be decided soonest, and this decision shared with the community," he said.
Villarin earlier said the university "will not hesitate to impose the penalty of dismissal or even expulsion in cases of grave misconduct."
The parents of the student who was bullied by his schoolmate have filed a blotter report regarding the incident, police said Friday.
Malacañang has also expressed concern on the incident and several lawmakers have urged netizens to stop picking on the Ateneo Junior High School student who was caught on camera kicking, punching, and bullying schoolmates.
