DAVAO – A former cadet of the Philippine National Police Academy and his brother were arrested after they attacked a waiter in Matina early Thursday morning.
Christopher Resulogo, 26, and his brother Mark, 19, were apprehended by police.
The two, who were allegedly drunk, approached the victim Arsenio Gonzales who was then drinking with his fellow waiters inside a store in Shrine Hills and engaged him in a heated conversation.
Gonzales said the two left the store but came back brandishing knives and attacked him by hacking him in the neck.
For his part, Christopher said they were only defending themselves.
A kitchen knife and a butcher’s knife were recovered from their possession.
