Tropical Storm "Marce" was on track to make its fifth landfall, this time over the Calamian group of islands, state weather bureau PAGASA said.
State weather forecasters said Marce was expected to bring moderate to heavy rainfall within the 300 km diameter of the tropical storm.
At 4 p.m., the storm's center was estimated at 55 km Southeast of Coron, Palawan.
It had maximum sustained winds of up to 65 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 100 kph. Marce was forecast to move
west northwest at 22 kph.
As of 5 p.m., the following areas were under tropical cyclone warning signals:
-Calamian group of islands
- Cuyo Island
- Southern Occidental Mindoro
-Southern Oriental Mindoro.
-Rest of Occidental Mindoro
-Rest of Oriental Mindoro
Areas under warning signals and the rest of Bicol region and the province of Aurora and Quezon were alerted against possible flash floods and landslides.
Marce was expected to exit the Philippine area of responsibility on Sunday late morning or afternoon.
