MANILA - The Philippine National Police has dismissed another police officer linked to a controversial 2013 narcotics raid wherein millions worth of illegal drugs were allegedly recycled.
Police Lt. Joven de Guzman was earlier suspended for 2 months due to command responsibility following an anomalous drug operation in Antipolo City last May, which also involved 3 other Pampanga policemen who recycled illegal drugs.
De Guzman and the 3 others were among 13 former members of the Pampanga police accused of pilfering some 160 kilos of shabu from an operation against a suspected Chinese drug lord in 2013.
The three were earlier sacked after they raided a house of a certain Arnold Gramaje in Antipolo without a search warrant and made it out to be a drug bust.
