MANILA—Quake-hit parts of Mindanao and the Visayas will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains due to a low-pressure area (LPA) Thursday, the state weather agency said.
PAGASA warned of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorm over Davao Region, Caraga, Northern Mindanao and the Visayas.
The weather disturbance was last spotted 460 kilometers east of Davao City as of 3 a.m. Thursday.
Weather specialist Ezra Bulquerin said the northeast monsoon or amihan will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Batanes.
Fair weather with chances of isolated rains is expected over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
