ILOILO CITY - More than fifty drug dependents on Monday graduated from a drug rehabilitation program initiated by the Western Visayas Regional Police in Iloilo.
The 54 drug dependents were from the barangays around Camp Martin Delgado, home to the Philippine National Police's Regional Command.
The drug dependents underwent month-long counseling and series of drug tests for them to pass the program. After the graduation, they will undergo capacity-building or after-care.
The program was initiated by Police Regional Office-6 Regional Director C/Supt. Jose Gentiles Jr. as an off-shoot of the PNP's Project Double Barrel.
