MANILA - Strong winds lifted and turned over a private plane while parked at the general aviation area of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport complex on Friday.

No one was injured in the incident. It also did not cause any damage on a nearby parked aircraft.

NAIA General Manager Ed Monreal said the Cessna 172 plane with registry number RPC 5002 was owned and operated by a certain Captain Gerry Javalera.

Airport rescue personnel and the plane's mechanics immediately removed the aircraft.
