MANILA - Typhoon "Paeng" has left the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Saturday morning, state weather bureau PAGASA said.
In its bulletin, PAGASA said the eye of the typhoon was last spotted outside PAR at 730 kilometers northeast of Basco, Batanes at 7 a.m.
Paeng is moving north at 15 kph, packing maximum sustained winds of up to 160 kph near the center and gustiness of up to P195 kph.
While Paeng has no direct effect in any part of the country, PAGASA still warned that sea travel remains risky over the northern and eastern seaboards of Luzon.
