MANILA - ABS-CBN News' YouTube channel has reached 7 million subscribers this month, deepening the digital footprint of the country's biggest broadcasting company.
The channel acquired the third most number of video views among Philippine-based YouTube channels in the month of July, garnering over 180 million views on its videos, according to analytics firm Social Blade.
Globally, it ranked 9th among channels in the News and Politics category in the same month, with over 4 billion views since its inauguration, based on data from video measurement company Tubular Labs.
The new million of subscribers was acquired in just 6 months, during which ABS-CBN News launched its newest mobile application and NXT, which consists of informative videos on current events and relevant issues produced for the digital generation of Filipinos.
ABS-CBN News also continues to inform nearly 17 million followers on Facebook and 6.4 million on Twitter. It also serves more than 1.2 million followers on the photo-sharing platform Instagram.
