MANILA - Moderate to heavy rains will dampen Metro Manila ahead of President Rodrigo Duterte's fourth State of the Nation Address, the state weather bureau said Monday.
A PAGASA advisory at 1:21 p.m. Monday said rains may persist in Metro Manila, Bulacan, and Tarlac within the next 2 hours.
It advised residents to take precautionary measures against flash floods and landslides.
PAGASA earlier said the southwest monsoon is affecting extreme northern Luzon while the rest of the country will experience isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.
