MANILA - Tropical storm "Falcon" has left the Philippine area of responsibility, the state weather bureau said Thursday.
Falcon was spotted 655 kilometers north northeast of Basco, Batanes packing maximum sustained winds of up to 80 kilometers per hour (kph) and 100 kph gusts, PAGASA said.
The other low-pressure area seen Wednesday is also out of PAR. It was spotted at 310 km west northwest of Sinait, Ilocos Sur, and it may turn into a tropical depression, the weather agency said.
Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals over the country have been lowered.
On Thursday, moderate to heavy rains will still be experienced over Ilocos Region, Zambales, and Bataan, PAGASA said.
Meanwhile, light to moderate rains will be experienced over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.
Sea travel is however still risky over the seaboards of Luzon, PAGASA said.
