MANILA - State weather bureau PAGASA said Wednesday it was monitoring a new low-pressure area (LPA) brewing east of the country.
The weather disturbance was last spotted 110 kilometers southeast of Davao City, the agency said in its 4 p.m. bulletin.
Eastern and Central Visayas, Caraga, Northern Mindanao and Davao Region will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the LPA.
Meanwhile, localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers in Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
PAGASA warned the public of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
