MANILA - Jeepney drivers and operators have until February 28 to claim their Pantawid Pasada Program (PPP) fuel cards, the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) said Friday.
The PPP fuel cards provide subsidy amounting to P5,000 for 2018 and P20,514 for 2019.
Qualified public utility jeepney (PUJ) franchise holders may refer to the LTFRB's official Facebook page for distribution schedule and other details, the agency said.
Beneficiaries in the provinces may contact the nearest Regional Franchising and Regulatory Office (RFROs) in their areas, it added.
Those who cannot personally claim their fuel cards may present a notarized Special Power of Attorney (SPA) through their representative with the following:
- Original & photocopy of ID of qualified franchise holder
- Original & photocopy of ID of representative
- Original OR/CR
- Original copy of CPC o proof of franchise
- Recent photo of qualified franchise holder
Some 87,000 fuel cards have been distributed to beneficiaries nationwide, while around 173,000 PUJ franchise holders are estimated to benefit from the fuel subsidy program.
